Obituary of James M. Chandler

James M. Chandler, age 27 of Jonesville passed away suddenly on Tuesday February 17, 2015 at his home. He was born on August 17, 1987 in Schenectady. He was predeceased by his grandfather Robert Chandler, and uncles Robert and Jeffrey Chandler. James attended Shenendehowa High School and received a degree in Diesel Mechanics from UTI in Boston. He previously worked as a mechanic for ARG in Rensselaer and Auto Solutions in Schenectady, most recently working as a cook at Ruby Tuesday in Clifton Park. He enjoyed playing cards and loved to work on engines. He is survived by his father James L. (Mary McCormack) Chandler, mother Pamela (Karl) Brandenberg, sister Lindsey Chandler, paternal grandmother Marjorie Chandler, maternal grandparents Dick and Eunice Schefcik, uncle Clay Chandler, aunt Paula (Bob) Tillquist, and uncle John Schefcik and several cousins. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Rd., with a funeral Mass on Friday at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beaulah, Colorado Fire Dept. by going to www.beulahfireambulance.org.
