Obituary of Joseph Gallagher

Clifton Park, NY. Joseph Gallagher, age 87. Formerly of West Islip, NY, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday April 16, 2024. Born in Brooklyn NY. He was the son of the late Joseph P. and Lillian (Herlehei) Gallagher Joseph is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pamela Gallagher, daughters Joan Gallagher, Diane (Jeff) Mt. Pleasant and Kelli Budney and his son Brian (Tricia) Gallagher. He was the beloved grandfather or "Pooka" to Dawn (Cliff) Borner, Matt (Jenna) Borner, Nicole (Roland) VanZandt, Scott (Emma) Mt. Pleasant, Samantha Budney, Emma Stonefield, Sean Gallagher and Caitlynn Gallagher. He was also the Great Grandfather to Kya Cote. In his younger days Joe loved woodworking and built many kitchen cabinets and pieces of furniture. He enjoyed gathering with his family, especially with the grill fired up and the Mets game on TV.
